While working on the design plan, the idea was to incorporate intentional storage and ensure that each cabinet was fully utilized to create less overall clutter. To accomplish this in a small kitchen two creative storage solutions were offered. First we utilized the lofty 10′ ceilings with an extra row of cabinetry atop. This brings the cabinets all the way to the ceiling, giving the extra storage space but also making the room feel larger. Second was the incorporation of an appliance garage. This helped to streamline kitchen storage, keeping small appliances behind closed doors and offer a more polished look.
