Converting a space not designated for a bathroom can pose challenges but we overcame the obstacles and provided these clients a tranquil bathroom featuring neutral grey cabinets, marble tiled walls with a light black tiled floor.  

During this renovation we were asked to convert a walk-in closet into a oasis bathroom. The clients already had the plans just needed the expertise to complete their dreams.  

This renovation posed some challenges being that it was a closet, we added some natural light into the space by adding a window and created an open floorplan for the new plumbing to be added through the crawl space. 

The clients wanted a bright and relaxing shower so to accomplish this we went with dark grey heated tiled flooring throughout, including the curbless shower. In the shower we have beautiful 13×13 Ceratec Capri Marble tiles on the walls and a basketweave pattern tiled floor with a tiled linear drain cover. Keeping with the open concept design the customers did not want a shower door making the transition from the bathroom to the shower simple. Completing the shower renovation with Baril Sens brushed nicle thermostatic fixtures with a slidebar and large rain head. 

The vanity was a custom 72” double bowl shaker frame vanity in a painted grey finish, featuring a speckled glitter quartz countertop with 2 brushed nickel single lever faucets atop drop-in Kohler sinks. 

Storage was a large factor for these clients so we maximized it by adding medicine cabinets and a custom linen tower to match the vanity. Bright crystal LED vanity lights complemented the space and tied all the components together. 

With all the space during this renovation we were able to fit a 72” x 36” Mirolin Tuscan bathtub with the Ceratec Capri tiles wrapping around the perimeter of the bathroom. Baril brushed nickel Sens deck mount tub filler completed the space. 

Overall, this renovation posed its challenges while turning a walk-in closet into a fully functional ensuite bathroom but in the end the clients were impressed with the finished design and installation.
